How about the volume of air
She is 23" long all solid brass about 50 lbs

Welcome to the forums.
That’s a big horn - it probably has a big appetite for air.
Got any pics of that bad boy?

Your going to need more volume that a 1/2" line and 5 gallons.

The horn has a fitting for a 1/2" connection. I emailed the manufacturer for all the specs.
The photo will have to wait I am at sea, but she is beautiful. she is the Cadillac of horns. I hope it wont shatter my windows LOL
This is what its going on

i cant wait to see the pic of the horn!!

scaredu, Newark… Im on the eastershore Md

oh nice… not too far from delaware…

Those horns are loud, last summer we went up to Duluth MN and watched all the huge boats pass through port. VERY LOUD.

I would recommend using a barb fitting with 5/8" ID air line then. That is about the most volume that you can get out of a 1/2" pipe thread.

You are still going to need more tank volume, if you want to honk for more than a few seconds.

Here it is the BIG DADDYship horn1.jpg

Sweet! I know you’re dying to try that thing!

Yeah 5 gallons will be nothing to that horn lol You’re gonna need way more to get any kind of significant honking done.

What - you didn’t want to test it at your house? haha
How much air was that? It sounds good.

Tested on the Chesapeake bay. had to did not want a ticket
200 psi 5 gallon, Viking compressor

Yeah, I hear ya - I was just kidding.

I would have guessed more air volume for that big horn.
You got some pretty good honk time out of 5 gallons.
