I just bought a Shocker XL kit about a week ago. ive been trying to figure out the best location/directoin to mount the horns but havent really came up with anything solid. any advice would be appreciated. thanks
Is your truck lifted? I cut the spare tire junk out and made a bracket to hold the tank and horns where the spare would be since the spare is all but worthless. Any room infront of the Radiator, could you mount them pointing down?
yea i have a 03 crew cab long bed duramax with a 6’ lift. i was thinkin about going for the spare tire idea. what way should i have them facing? im not running a compressor and tank im running a SCBA bottle:)
with shockers, they will fit in the grill, and the tank and compressor on the fram rail right near the rear drivers side door
i have a 06 chrew cab. gas truck but should be close to the same. i put mine between the grill ad radiator facing down.
thanks guys. im gonna go the easy route with my air supply and run a SCBA bottle with a regulator off of an Oxygen/Acetylene steup to keep as simple as possible
