Shocker problems

Mine is def. from the florida moisture/humidity because on cool days or even less humid days they work fine. Its really annoying though,if anyone figures out a fix let me know! lol

Yeah, I have come to that conclusion too… Hot, humid, or rainy days they will squeak… I love this time of the year simply because my horn will not squeak

im have the same problim an i called hornblaster an told them what mine were doin an they told me to try an pin poin witch one it was an send them back they will give you a send back number an all you got to pay for is shn there an back an they will cheak them out an fix them or replase the horn it suck cuz i got to live with out them till i get them back but its better to do it now befor its to late an you cant do anything but buy new ones

hay T man you
know its funny
i have the S4

for a year now
i run mine on

i gave horn blasters
a shout and thay
told me to take
the horns with
the front faceing
down and shoot
water up in the horn. 1 of 2

to clean them out
i think mine are
derty so ill give
it a shot monday
after work and if
it works never
know.

let me no if it works befor i take mine off an send them back to get them cheak out

the problem is the humidity and heat my horns are fine at night when its cooler but during the day they sound high pitched. theres nothing to really do to fix it there was a guy that sent his back and it stopped for a little while but then did it all over again

well thats good
bro glad its not bad
i think mine are
just derty so wen
i get a nice day ill
clean mine for
know horn on.
peace

could be but everyone has had the same problem so im sure you got the same thing we do just the heat and humidity is all it is

looks like I’m going to have that problem soon. I have my horns are right by the muffler and it’s pretty humid here.

im sure i know alot of people that have the problem theres nothing you can really do to fix it. i mean its not that big of a deal just gets annoying when you honk and they sound bad

that guy is me

yup i just forgot your name on here. they still doing it now?

Yes, they still are giving off that high pitch sound

that sucks im just gonna replace mine with k3’s or k5’s not sure which ones yet

mine do it sometimes… I live in SC where its hot and humid everyday… I just lay down on them until all the air is out then they will sound fine… I wanna get a 5 gallon tank for my shockers and put a 200psi switch on them. Is that gonna be a problem and where can i get the 200psi switch?

nope i run mine at 200 psi and there fine. you can just lay on them and dump the tank but for me to do that with my shockers takes way to long with 12 gallons lol. 5 gallons would be a good start to. how many gallons you got now?

2 gallons its at 150 and I can blow them for like 2 seconds if that before the sound starts lowing. :frowning:

that sucks if you can go bigger do it. i went from like 2 to 12 and i love it. for the shockers its over kill but for some k3’s or k5’s itd be good. im just waiting until i can get some more compressors and get maybe another 8 gallons and 2 k3’s or k5’s.

Mine squeek only when the tank has just refilled. They squeek for a second or two then they are fine.
