Hey guys, i’m new here and have Hornblaster shocker XL’s and some dual hadleys on the front of my car. I’m going to post a couple links, one of what they used to sound like, and one of what they sound like now(a couple of the horns sound really high pitched). Does anyone have any suggestions? Thought i would post on here and just ask before i call hornblasters.
Hmm…That’s def. a squeak. Make sure to drain the tank consistently, and I don’t mean through the horns. You should have a drain fitting on the bottom of your tank. If not, the condensation will go through the lines, to the horns, and cause the squeaky tone.
Haha that heaven in Slamology in Indianapolis, IN last weekend.
I have drained the tank a couple times, but not from the bottom fitting, my tank is a pain to get to the bottom plug. I have air hose fittings plumbed into my system so i can use impact guns and stuff if i need to. And to drain the tank i just hook and air gun to the air hose and release the pressure that way. I guess i’ll try unboltin the tank so i can get to the bottom plug this weekend and see if that helps at all.
