shockers

will the shockers work and sound loud at 120psi? i work on semis for a living and we are having a problem with our trucks at the job sites being herd.

i think theyre still plenty loud at 120…i was filling my tank today and it was only at 60psi and i honkd them just to see what it would sound like and it scared me a little cause i didnt even expect it to be as loud as it was.

i believe 150psi is recomended just cause they seem to sound best at that pressure

thanks for the info.

true… its not all about pressure, its about volume…

And semis will produce a decent amt i believe…

Sounds good. Whistle too.

schockers are rated to hit 140 db at 100 psi, 120 will work excelent!. shockers will top any truck horn from what i have witness, i have two sets on my dodge durango truck at 145 psi with xl solenoids. and they sound dam close to a real train. shockers will work great for you.

knightrider, where are the pics of your setup?

Hey my friends. just havent had time to get pictures??? also im lost when it comes to down load them to this web?? have to look it over very carefully. well i dont have that mutch room on the durango. so it don’t look good, but i honestly do have two sets. one is on the front the two long facing forward, the medium and small facing down next to the radiator, then the next set are under the driver next to the trans facing forward. 7 gallon tank is on the back of the last row back seats.:stuck_out_tongue:

Well, do know that no train horn setup is a BAD train horn setup. Everyone on here absolutely loves train horns and will respect whatever decision you made regaring them. (OTherwise they get kicked out) And, I can walk you through how to upload your pics.

HORN ON!!!

great ill take a few this comeing weekend, drop me a line direct to my iphone at: txknight82@yahoo.com . i’ll be useing it to take the shots then i can email them out. thanks duddy!!:)

you can email hornblasters, at one time i wanted to go with two long horns and two medium. They replyed saying they are i think $40.00 each $15 shipping. If you don’t want the train sound just get all 4 long trumpets, i have tryed one of the long alone and it sounded great!:d:d.

Arent all the long ones playing the same note? How do you get the “real train” sound you speak of without the chord.

Jeremy… fail

It will sound like a fog horn 100%. Not as scary, but cool if you like boats?

what kinda self-help drug was I on with that post? lol.
