I actually got it for peanuts on a series of trades on Craigslist 
Started off with this minitruck I picked up for $500 bucks at an auction…
Flipped it the very next week for $2000, then picked up this one for $1000
Traded it straight up for this Mopar Powered Drag boat…
Had some fun with it, then I found a Mopar car collector that wanted my boat simply because it was Mopar and he had two matching Plum Crazy Purple cars and traded it for his 30ft cigarette boat 
With the work done on the previous vehicles, I only had $3500 into the yellow and nothing to haul it, so it was nothing more than a chip in the big game to me :rolleyes:
After a few hundred emails inquiring about possible Muscle car and Hot Rod trades, I finally cashed it in and traded it straight up for the Ford
So I basically got it for $3500

Nope, I list everything for sale in their correct category (cars & trucks, boats, photo/video, etc.), then I add “For Sale or Trade” in the listing title
Then I add a list of things I’m willing to trade for and go on the hunt for possible trade listings and email a link to my listing
The secret is to list whatever it is you’re selling/trading for much more than it’s actually worth 
Thousands of people will think you’re crazy, but there’s always someone who will believe the value is whatever is listed and jump at the chance to trade, especially if the listed price is more than what their item is valued at :rolleyes:
