Thank you for the welcomes and the forum. I think I was able to solve my issue with the help of user DBO. I will wire it all up and test it as soon as my schedule will allow and report back.

Glad you’re on the way to getting it figured out. My truck probably has the exact same wiring as yours, but I haven’t even looked for the horn wire. It’s just a matter of figuring out if it’s truly + or - switched and wiring accordingly.

I did… But about the time DBO helped me figure it all out. Up and running now. Will post some pictures when time allows. Nothing fancy but it gets the point across.

LOL… The wife has already told me to save up… A ticket fund she called it. I plan to only use it for the I 95 folks that want to cut me off. (And hope the state PO PO are understanding if they are around)

All is good now. Got is all figured out. Finished it up a few hours ago. Works the exact way I wanted. Hit me up with any questions. (I think you’ll be ok.) It is pretty easy for electrical smart folks… Me on the other hand!..LOL

I spent some time Newlin Hall (Computer Science School) prior to it moving to the Stumps in the late 90’s. If you’re looking from the Seven Day store towards the chow hall, I was in the barracks just to the right between Barnett and Hawkins. H&S Bn, T&E Company.
There used to be a building where the parking lot for the Auto Store is now located … how time flies

Now they have temp trailers where the building is that they tore down (then paved just to mess up for trailer install. heard the offices from Little Hall are moving in due to renovations.) near the 7 day. The barracks are still there. I used to work on 3rd deck of the H&S BN before getting kicked out to Daly Hall…lol.
It has been fun here in VA… but my time is ending. Supposed to head back to CA soon.
