slow fill or no fill (325)

I have a 2 gallon tank with a viair 325 it sometimes just runs and does’nt fill the tank. would that be the top end or the piston? just want to fix it. honking these horns are toooo much fun. thanks for any advice…

You could have a bad piston, a really bad air leak, or even a bad leader hose.

Have you poked around to see what’s going on?

I’ve checked for air leaks thats all good. how can the leader hose cause this to happen? (leaking)? what do the pistons run? $$

The check valve could be stuck.

If the compressor keeps running and doesn’t build pressure past a certain point then the safety valve could be doing its job and the pressure switch is bad. The problem might be the check valve is stuck and it’s part of the leader hose from Viair. If I understand correctly, a stuck check valve can cause fuses to blow.
