I am in the middle of building it all at the moment… but here are some quick cell phone pics for now…
1st is the compressor… its mounted under the rear seat… with the tank below it next to the frame rail
2nd is the horns mounted in the front grill…the last one is behind the bumper… valve is under the hood
3rd is a picture of the box… amp racks and battery racks
4th is the passanger side of the truck…
5th is the drivers side of the truck…
ive got all the trim peices in now and im awaiting the carpet for it monday… than ima wire and mount it all up… i have all stinger batteries coming to replace the 4 yellow tops
horns are rediculously loud! Fills too slow for me so i think im going to order another 400c
i like the mtx amps… they are true power and reliable clean power… ive got saz3000.1s and stuff but this amp goes perfect with theses subs… 1krms/2k max… and the amp pushes just over that… if i was doing comps i wouldof did 4 of the amps just to burp it… and but the 6th order box i went with should do me justice for a daily driver…
but the mtx amps are powerhouses from my experience… used to use RF t40001 amps but those blow too much.
yea the big 3 upgrade on any car shows a significant differance… ive switched out as many grounds and stuff i could under my hood with 0 gauge… and im going dual alts and going to run around 16v to the amps with an external voltage regulator…
install should be done by mid-end next week… have to take it all apart and carpet everything then reinstall… mount subs/amps and itll be done… did the final wires on the compressor today… blew em last night when i had it hooked up and i cant wait to pull my truck outta the garage…
thanks. 7 sheets of wood later lol… and 34-42 hz it sounds the best i think it was … and hits hardest at 34hz i think it was… id have to go look at the sheets on it again… but i know those numbers are super close to what it was… finished all the filler panels today and now im waiting on the tan carpet to come to match the interior on monday… so i should have it all said and done with tuning highs and stuff by wed/thurs… then i can pull the truck out and go horn crazy lol… i was more excited to hear the horns rather than put the music in to hear it right now lol…
