So how often do you guys drain your tanks?

Back in the day, I used to drain mine every week, but found very little moisture (if any)

Then I went for weeks and eventually months, each time with basically the same results :rolleyes:

Now it’s been almost a year since I’ve touched them :eek:

Anytime you run your compressors in a week’s time, you should drain extra condensate from your tank. Just because very little comes out, doesn’t mean its not in the tank, creating rust and erroding the internal surfaces of your receiver (air tank).

i drain it whenever i get to it…the tank and water traps i try to get once a week

Thanks SNAKE EATER for reminding me,it’s been a month,want to see how much is there now and adjust schedule accordingly.
