yes they do. I requested this to be primarily a SQ box but can thump when called upon.

So do you miss you DDs with the big ol’ Kicker amp?
Believe it or not, with the Polk’s in the new PWK box and tiny amp, they go louder and deeper than the DD’s and Kicker before so I’m quite happy with them. I still wonder though how much louder the DD’s would sound in a PWK enclosure. 
Although the current system is geared more on SQ so the Polks are more appropriate… for now. 
Don’t get me wrong, the DD’s were loud (and had been mistaken for bigger subs before) But this is a whole new level lol But I won’t be selling the DD+Kicker combo. Might get installed in another ride.
We had this join dbDrag for kicks just to see how it meters even though this was designed for audible performance and not playing sine waves. It landed a 136.3db (Termlab, sensor on windshield) I guess it isn’t too bad for a pair of 8 inch SQ subs powered with that tiny amp. 
Not too bad? Isn’t that loud enough to hurt?
It doesn’t hurt that much as it was at about 48Hz and only for a couple seconds. when you get to 140++ and above, that’s where you’ll be needing earmuffs. Although some would argue you need one on anything above 120.
