Never heard of them, youtube have some vids but they dont sound to nice.

A rule of thumb… If there is no tank, then it’s no good.

Even if you add your own air tank?

I don’t mean to burst your bubble, but you’ll need to check if that compressor will even handle filling a tank. It may burn it up if it can’t handle running for long periods of time to fill a tank or if it can’t block any back pressure.

Also the horns probably won’t handle a very high PSI, so be careful if you do add a tank that you also regulate the PSI down to whatever those horns will handle or it will blow them apart.

Jeff cheers for you reply, i wont be useing the compressor to fill my tank im useing a diving tank witch is filled to 4500 psi and i will be getting it filled at a dive shop

I will also check for what the horns are rated too when i get them, but i have other horns on the way i also brought the guild to build air horns from pvc seems pretty dam good.

just to give you an idea, horns with tanks run at about 120psi and above.

horns with on-demand compressors like that run at 7psi.

I have tried similar horns like that and ran them on a 125psi tank. they do sound very loud. much louder than the stock compressor but the hose keeps popping out. didn’t bother experimenting any further than that.

Cheers these are my 1st horns, have been seraching on ebay for ages for some and found a hadley truck air horn. hoping to win that. just want somethink deep and loud  once i get everythink i will post it up as i do it

shockers are your best bet for that.

Not on a budget tho :frowning: im hoping to get some hadleys today  twins

Deep and loud? Shockers. Worth saving for IMO.

Im in the uk and feel i wont be able to use them as much as i would like :frowning:
