Hi all, Sorry I’ve not been on here much, last weekend I woz at the first jap car show in the Lo-lux, and during the week I’ve been knocking my bolox off at work.

I’ve temp rigged up my old siege3 horns from my old tank and filling it with a heavy duty trye inflator compressor.

I’ve also connected up the bags on the rear to the tank.

Ordering my K3’s tomoz from Hornblasters:D

I found another Hi-lux so thought it’d be cool to have the two parked together!

Today I fitted a switch that is a master switch that stops me accidently hitting the rear hood motors by mistake.

This is the switch that raises and lowers the rear cover… right by where I would grab for the seat belt…

I fitted my old tank on the truck from my old horn system and rigged up some taps to control the Air suspension.

This is the tap that feeds the bags to raise them…

This one is the waste pipe that exhausts the air out… I’m going to fit a Duck call thingey to this pipe so when the air releases out it quacks!!! lol quacccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

My Siege 3’s fitted under the back so I just lift the rear hood then blast, then lower it back down again.

And finally the finishing touches to the tank!!!

Heres a short video of the air bags and the horns and the back raising and lowering…yeah I know the bags dont go up and down as much as I’d like, but its a start!!! Sorry about the weird voice thing, its something me & Milster do to each other!!!

Unlike alot of you, I’m not hiding them away…planning on turning the truck into the UKs loudest pickup!!!..
My K3’s are going slap bang in the middle of the pick up…tank at the end, flanked by 2 x 450 Viairs… the back of the truck is gonna be decked out and hopefully look quite trick… gotta do something better than my last install thats in my Avatar;)

Aww man u made me jealous but sounds like you are gonna get into one heck of an install. If its anything like the last install you did, should be damn nice. Dont be shy on the pics.

Well how about that…woke up this morning and have got a tracking number from UPS…they is coming home to daddy!!! :slight_smile: I got a busy old week ahead of me, so the time should fly by!!!

You were so excited when your shocker kit was on the way, I can’t imagine how much more excited you are with a K3 on your way. :smiley:

I’m just wishing my life away at the moment!!!..I am proper excited!!! But got so much work ahead of me… just spent a sh*t load on new stickers… Gotta get loads of stuff for the truck…

Hmmmmm dont ask!!! Fecking ship loads!!! Import duty is the worst thing!! I think the shipping from HB’s woz $350US & I just had Fecking UPS on the fone… Just got stung for another $197US Dollars Import duty!!!

I must be off the head… over a thousand quid I just spent on this little exercise!!! (Going to find a dark corner to cry in now!)…its so bloody expensive importing this stuff in!!!:mad:

Nice truck. Great idea to have the horns hidden under the bed cover and raise it up with a power lift before blowing them. Not sure that a power lift would be able to raise up a K3 as easily, especially if you get 2 sets of K3 horns! But if you can pull it off then it will be very cool. Also need to raise the lift height of the truck way up there. With all the weight of the horns and other gear it will be riding lower than ever… :slight_smile:

Stinky ordered his K3 this week. It will be going out once we get a pic of Matt and his horn (Matt will be back from NC on Thurs.)

Mate the K3’s are going to be static, built onto a display plinth in the centre of the bed. However… The motors that raise the bed up are powerful enough to lift a cover twice the weight, so would not be an issue… I gotta wait till they are here before I can finally decide how this install is going to go, but suffice to say it will be very different…:wink:

I took the truck through a small tunnel with the Siege3’s on today! pressed the button to raise the bed, once raised I let them off!!! Nothing in this world compares to the shockers I had on the old car, my seiges are going to be my everyday horn, I shall have a switch to turn them off so I’m running just the K3’s and or the seiges as well! cant fooking wait!

Yeah I know its cackerpoop… but their horns!!!
