Last night I had the horns on for about 7-8 seconds, today I hit my remote to lock the truck at a store (wifey hates that lol) but sounded different today, it gave a quick airsound (like air releasing for a partial second) then the quick honk. (door locking honk)
Never had them give that airsound before… did I somehow damage them leaving them on for the 7-8 seconds?
Tried it afterwards and get the air sound each time before the horns blow…
Everythings tight… Never lost any PSI overnight at all. The horns still sound loud, but an airleak sound first before they honk.
Possible a diaphram is leaking on one of the horns but the other three are playing?
Guess the only way is to by unhooking them and trying to blow through each by mouth first to see if I have a weak one, then try an air hose to narrow down the issue? (dang, they will be hard to reach) lol
Checked everything out… All looks tight… It does it every 4th or 5th time now… very strange… It could be the tank pressure maybe… (I run at 90/120 PSI) so if the tank is lower it may make the noise? I will keep track of when it does it… Maybe go to a quiet spot and test it with my key fob, from full to when the pump starts…
