Trying to figure out my setup before i place my order.
According to the setup in this pic, if the amp is rated for 500W RMS @2ohm, does that mean that each speaker is getting the full 500W or half of that since its two?
Need to know because that will mean the difference between one or two amps.
The woofers would share the amp’s output.

I would recommend a 500watt amp and a single 10 in a custom ported box it will sound way better than most other systems and dont require to much $$$$
Ordered a sealed box with 2 kicker compVR 12’s with a rockford fosgate 500amp. all for $335 shipped. The subs are rated for 400 each and will only be runnin at 250. Thats why i wanted to know about the sub/amp setup above. I guess i will have to order another amp in the near future.
Best part about it is that it all fits behind the rear seats on my megacab without any mods.
you shouldnt have to add another amp in the future i ran 2 kicker 10s at the same power output and they sounded great, but nothing like 500 watt amp on my 10in P3:D
