Take a Look

Never seen this before…1000psi!!! wtf is this???

Sad, someone will be mislead by this - and may destroy a perfectly good horn.

Hell yeah loudest train horn ever…ONCE! ha ha

Buyers might as well plan on buying new guts for their horns with every tank fill…lol

I understand the idea… The bottle will hold 1000psi like an oxygen bottle will. With a regulator this might actually work, but that is not how it is advertised. I sent him an email through ebay and explained this to him.

he emailed back and said that his solenoid valve has a .156 orifice. This is a joke. That might work with high psi, but the volume of air is not worth a darn at lower psi…

I wouldn’t want to spend that kind of cash and not even get a compressor… or more than “one” honk.

However, to get the pressure over 200psi you need to fill it with compressed gas!
A good friend of mine has a compressor that will fill over 2000 PSI. This guy is a jacka:eek::eek:

^ agreed. What does he want you to do. When it runs out, go fill it with helium?

update Apparently Maximus is making these. From www.maximushornsystems.com

Only thing worth anything is the sandcast bells style k3 manifold.

^ you can tell them are sand cast?

Actually the bells are newer 1995 to present day raised letter bells, and thats an old 1978 or earlier sandcast k3 manifold.

I know alot about K horns. But not everything yet.

Random knowledge. From 1978 to 1995 there are 7 different configurations/styles of the 4 bell. 1995 to present day there are 3 different 4 bells that I know of.

I know my bells are die cast and numbers 1,2, and 4a mounted on a low manifold. Which makes a K3LA. That is about all I know… lol

A pretty easy way to tell the difference in the manifolds is the diecast manifold is alot smaller and skinnier. The sandcast is taller and thicker. I’ll post a comparison photo when i get home from work.

someone should email that guy selling the scam set a link to this thread hahaha

As promised, here’s a sandcast manifold:

And here’s a diecast:

^ I guess mine is a diecast manifold too then…

Looked at the kit…no regulator. Just a pressure gauge mounted to the tank neck. I call the BS card on this one too. A lot of money for a 1x blast.

1000psi. I wonder how loud it would be? If it even made noise. Someone try it, and get a video… Ill be watching  lol
