I just installed an omega ac 1.5 kit and I’m curious what the fill time normally is. I turned it all on and seems to run a while to I shut it off. It’s a used unit so don’t want to keep running it if the pressure switch is bad.

It’s difficult to say exactly since I haven’t seen any published performance timings. Compressor specs indicate 2 CFM max, so it’ll no doubt fade rapidly as pressure builds. Just as a comparison the Viair 275C (2.03CFM) on a 2 gallon tank to 150psi takes just over 4 minutes. My guess would be that your kit should show similar timing.
How long is yours running for before shutoff?
My specs are the same as the Viair you referenced. It probably ran strong for about two minutes before I shut it off. Just seemed like a while so I got nervous. I assume the pressure valve would open before anythjng bad happened right?
A few minutes is pretty normal. They all vary a little.
Yes, the safety valve should pop, but it is good practice to install a pressure gauge.
