Tell me what yall think. Above cab mount.

Have you seen the latest redneck e-mail. It has stuff like “If you say Merry Christmas, you might be a redneck” etc…

According to that e-mail, I’ve been a redneck my whole life

thats kind of what i thought but it usually is rednecks doing it to they’re diesels though lol but i just want a stack so water isnt going in my exhaust when i find deep mud holes!
but i say mount em up top! i havnt had any birds or anything i know of go inside them besides rain. mine get a little water in them and sounds funny when i first blow em but clear right out and sound normal again.

i know you hate headache racks, but i think i have a pretty sweet setup. check it out.

OMG that is sick!

Stacks are for the guys that are into making smoke with their diesels, and the bad part is they don’t understand that black smoke is unburned diesel. It creates really high EGT’s and is a huge power loss.

I was thinking headache rack for times like football games, etc., but not for everyday use. I had way too much fun with them while I was home, and my wife uses them all the time now.

here is a better picture

wicked

OMG, lol, thats insane! How much have you tied up in your setup?
Been working seven days a week so I havent had anytime off to progress my project, but I’m back to 50hrs a week. So I get the weekend to work on it. Heres what I’ve gotten done so for. And my custom rack is getting fabbed up right now! Heres some pics of what I’ve got done so far.
Can’t wait, its gonna look sweet!

Also thanks for the replys.

Looking forward to seeing what you came up with.

Here is some more progress, painted them black and orange because I race KTM dirtbikes.

sexy orange horns lol

Done with this thing lol

Nice install but with that tank behind the passenger seat is there still enough leg room…hahaha

Lol thats why I put it on the pas. side. Nah I’m 5’9 and I can sit comfortably.

Very nice! I love seeing horns where they are out and can be seen and appreciated! Lock those puppies down if you leave them up there though. I always lock mine down and I never leave them unatended. Sweet job on the rack. Is there much movement front to back or is it pretty stout?

They will get way to much attention espacialy if you use them the way iveseen them being used and the way
i use them lol

i always mount them under the hood facing forwards. 98 dodge ram 4x4 lifted just took out the air box and put a cold air intake on and they fit perfect. Catches people off guard

im still waiting to see all those compressors

Good work matey:D I’m liking the bracket you made.

I think I would have mounted the compressor under the cab somewhere, I’ve found with my set-up, its not noisy as such, just annoying when its filling up the tank.

Get some vids up of you honking them beauties:D

I think its sad that the majority of people on this forum think that the OP wants to scare people. I have a Grover 1601 and a United Pacific 46115 mounted on my rooftop bolted into place and I’ve never had any problems.
