I just signed up here however this is a topic that I’m passionate about. I have a 2006 Jetta TDI the best I have gotten on my way home from work 51 miles is 63.4mpg. I average around 52mpg going to work and about 55 coming home except in the summer. Running the A/C drops it to about 51 coming home. Just depends if I’m in a hurry.
Two Tickets so yes it will go over the speed limit.
sweet man i got a 06 passat…2.0t…best i did so far was 40mpg…
Welcome to the forum!
Is that with the air con on or off? lol (you crazy americans)
We may be crazy but we won’t put up with 95 degrees & 95% humidity without A/C which applies to almost every state east of the rocky mountains.
Hmmmmm I have a small button in my car that says “A/C”, I’ve never used it, I have a full length electric sunroof and windows that always down.
My Fiancee has the same “A/C” button in her Convertible Audi, but whenever she pushes it, there is the most horrendous stink of a 1000 cats p*ss you have ever smelt!
I know its a bacteria based smell and she’s gotta get it sorted, but we tend to push the other button that puts the roof down:D
Dude, you got to chip that sucker. I have the Superchip Flashpaq and my truck is sitting on like 17.2 MPG. I drive 11 miles to work and 11 miles home. On the highway at 65 I will get 18-20(depending on the wind). I have those big heavy 33" Pro Comp Mud X-tremes also. Look into it, I bet you can get one around $325.00. It will pay itself off in the end. I just went out to my truck and I got 211.6 miles on my trip and i’m a hair under a half tank. CHIP that Z71 OUT:)
sneak out to her car one night put the ac on with fans at full blast then shut it off so when she starts it in the morning lol
'04 Civic EX 1.7l 5 speed
I average 30-42mpg depending on where and how I drive. That’s with 18’s, 480c w/5gallon tank, K3’s/shockers, sub, 2 amps, and a deep cycle mounted in the trunk along with the spare too.
Nice. What’s your sidewall length with 18" wheels? I have 205-50-R16 on my 1999 civic and I think there’s still room for tire chains
09 cummins 2500 4 door big bumper and 35s. 23mpg
The boat burns 44 gallons of diesel per hour cruising at 20 mph.
The fuel tank holds 520 gallons of diesel.
^^^ Ouch! 2.2 gallons per mile!
That’ll leave a mark…
Overhead readout says 20 MPG…wallet says otherwise, more like 15
