Installing this horn kit is a giant pain in the butt! I’ve spent like 2 days on it and have hardley gotten any where. I have the brackets for my tank and compressor installed, but can’t mount them because I had to take the compressor of the top of the tank and my leader hose is too short. If I had elbows, it would be just long enough, but I don’t and apparently, no one in the world sells them! I’ve burnt up 2 days and a half a tank of gas driving around buying crap, or trying to buy crap that is, for this. Just venting a little bit. I really hope it’s worth it in a couple of months when I actually finishing installing this.
Fail to plan = plan to fail.
I took about a day to lay it all out and figure out what I needed, then made a trip to the local hardware store, and I still needed some help to finish the install. The planning stages were a total PITA, but that first honk will let you know its worth it.

Hang in there, Mine took A few days to get things sorted out and many trips to the store for fittings and so on but in the end it was all worth it.

Heck ya, stick with it. I took almost 2 weeks to install my K3LA and after the first honk it was totally worth it all. Just be patient.
yeah stick with it mate, mine took about 5/6 weekends, working solid on it from 7am till 7pm each day, but in the end, I gaurantee your little face will be smiling:D

Finally got it in and all hooked up. Got my first scare yesterday. some guy crossed in the middle of the street right in front of me trying to act all cool. Didn’t look that cool when he thought he was going to die from what ever was making the noise he heard. He almost dropped his cell phone. Defenitly worth the time I put into it. I’ll get some pics of my install up in the install thread soon.
