On the pressure switch situation, which compressor do you have. If your compresor doesnt do 200psi then that pressure switch isnt gonna work. Its gonna run the heck out of your compressor. Then you’ll be buying another one. The 480C does 200psi. i hope thats what you have. Im using a 165-200 switch with TWO 480Cs that independently do 200 psi, which only works each compressor half as hard.
The kit I got came with the 480c compressor and the 165-200psi pressure switch. I have already called Hornblasters and I am going to switch it out for the 110-150psi switch. So I should be good.
looks great bro what color are you going to paint the k3?
I am just doing flat black. That seems to be appropriate since it will be under my truck. I just got through painting the caps and I am going to do the manifold in a little while.
sounds good
My wife (GF at the time) bought my first set of train horns for me, after that, she said she heard trains all the time… before that, she didn’t pay attention to them as much… now she hates when I work on my truck…
damn some wife you have
my gf hates me working on anything unless its for her
Ok. I wasnt sure which compressor you had. You know, you dont have to change your pressure switch out if you dont want. The 480C does 200psi. You can always use a regulator and regulate your flow to 150 if thats what you prefer but you will still have 200 in your tank which will give you a longer blow or more shorter ones. Heck, you may be able to get a few bursts without the compressor coming on this way.
