Truck bed location?

Hey guys. Been creeping for a few days just looking. Ordered a wolo Siberian express and a turbo 840 setup that’ll be here this week. Wanted to do the manual lanyard valve but it was gonna be a pain to get the pull cable into the truck how I want it without drilling out the floor to run the air lines. So I’m just doing electric solenoid with a cool blue LED button. Anyways. I’m wanting to mount the compressor and tank setup in the bed of my pickup in the front left corner. I’ve ordered a tonneau cover to keep it dry. Does anyone think this would be an issue? I’d just drill a small hole in the floor of the bed to run power wires and air to the horns. It’s going on a 14 ram with the 6.5’ bed. Thanks!

Check under the cab, there should be rectangular holes with plastic plugs.

This is how I fed my lines into my cab on my '08 3500.

Yeah, we went ahead and just got the electric solenoid. I might buy a manual valve some day and run the lines up into the cab. The compressor has that 3/8 inch or so braided line. I guess it wouldn’t be too hard to run a small air line like the horn actually takes up in there. Idk. I need it this weekend for a show so this semi-permanent setup will do! I just hope these horns are as loud as I’m expecting!

This is going back a few years but it could give you some ideas. There was a guy called Marlin009 with a GMC who rigged up a lanyard pulley system to the manual valve.

This is mine last year for the Marine Corps birthday. I’ll have another one or three posted sometime Saturday.
