I’m going to be cleaning out the warehouse over the next few months, rebuilding pumps etc. etc.
Today I rebuilt a Chrome Viair 460C. I gotta warn you it’s not pretty but it works GREAT!
It got broken down , cleaned, I replaced a reed valve and a piston , put it all back together and tested it. It fills to 150PSI on time. One thing did note about it, (and I can’t seem to fix it) is RIGHT when it kicks on it draws up to 40 amps for half of a second, then it draws at max 23, 24 AMPS. The lowest you’ll find this pump for sale online is $239.95.
I’m including a new intake filter, mounting hardware, two replacement filter cartridges, and a small Hornblasters Sticker.
one of the legs on this pump has a bend in it. I didn’t have the appropriate tool to bend it back but I’m sure it can be done. (See photo for more details)
