The K5la is more in demand from my experence. Thats why I own em. The p5a is prolly a little more rare so it might bring in more $$.As far as the sound goes, I like all the Locomotive horns and whistles.

P5 is Sand Cast which is not as strong as K5LA which is Die Cast. K5’s also much louder.
