So, I need some help. My boyfriend is always watching videos on youtube of people using train horns, and he wants one so bad! I want to surprise him with one but I have no idea what ones are best.
I know he wants a deeper sounding one. He drives a 2005 Dodge 2500, 10 inch lift and all done up. I want something loud and bada$$ to match the truck. I have a budget of about $300, $350 at most! I have no idea where to start looking online for one, so any suggestions you could give me would help so much.
Scroll down just a bit and you will see kits right in your price range. Most of them if you search on YouTube have videos of people who installed them. Remember, since these kits come with an air tank and compressor they are âexpandableâ in the future. Down the road you can invest in bigger tanks, compressors, and BIGGER horns.
Hopefully someone else can chime in and suggest which one of these kits is the best bang for your buck!!!
P.S.
Post a picture of his truck, it sound like a nice truck!!
Welcome. There are many here who started with and like the Shocker horns in the first 4 kits. If you can save a little more, the Conductorâs 540 kit, with 5 gallon tank, will give you more bang for the buck or they can be upgraded as Tlauden said.
Welcome to the forum. With that price range, it will be difficult to get the loud, deep train sound you are looking for unless your boyfriend already has an air tank and compressor. If thatâs the case, $300.00 can get you the shocker series horn with all the components he needs. If he does need the whole kit, the rocker 228 wouldnât be a bad place to start. You can upgrade later as they all stated.
We do have sales occasionally. If you find us on Facebook, we typically advertise the sales there once or twice a year. If you would like to give us a call, I can most likely work something out.
