can anyone give me a quote on a 8.5 gallon tank there willing to sell?
95 dollars and free shipping, it’s the hornblasters 8.5 gallon tank I believe. I bought it and it works well.

but wait, why does it say 8 gallon in the title but 8.5 in the description?
They both say 12.5" x 32.5".
I had one of their 8.5 tanks. Seems like when I measured it & calculated the volume, it was actually over 8.5 gallons.
really? what was the calculated volume you came up with?
Can’t remember exactly, but not much over.
I would recalculate, but it seems the published dimensions include the ports sticking out.
i’m not sure exactly what the volume is but I can measure the tank for you if you want.
also, just an FYI - the tank I received has one 3/4" NPT port in addition to all the 1/2" NPT ports.
That’d be great. diameter & length & also how tall the curves on the ends are.
Measure the o.d. - most accurate by wrapping your tape around to get the circumference.
Measure end to end - outside of the curved ends - not including the ports.
Measure the length of the straight part of the tank. start of curve on one end to start of curve on the other end. Just the cylindrical part of the tank.
Mine too. Not necessarily a bad thing but it’s good to know ahead of time when buying parts.
They must have changed. Mine were all 1/2" in 2009.
