Im currently deployed and really want to purchase a train horn for my 2008 Mustang GT. However I’d rather not spend more money then I have to, due to trying to save up for my honeymoon. Are the kits on eBay any count? They are roughly $180. I wanna buy something loud and dependable to just play around with sometimes. I love the shockers, love how you can mount them separate. But how much would I be spending on the rest of the kit after piecing it together? I know it depends but just roughly.

Just keep in mind… you buy cheap crap from eBay and you’ll probably end up buying twice. The HB Shocker kits come with everything you’ll need and it’s all pretty good stuff, so if dependability is something you value then I reckon those kits are really hard to beat. It’s worthwhile saving up that little bit more.
Welcome to the forum. The Shockers are loud and probably the next best thing to train horns. Many people who start small usually upgrade so they can really get the attention of stupid drivers. Consider saving your funds a little longer for the Shockers.
Where can I buy a real Nathan or Leslie air chime? I would like to purchase a set that needs to be rebuilt or refurbished. I want to do my own repairs and painting.
