Sadly, I have decided its time for another vehicle. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my Trailblazer SS…but its time for a change. No clue whats next on my plate, but I’m actively looking. The TB should go away Wednesday or Thursday. I removed the horns yesterday, it was sort of bittersweet. They have been inop for a couple of weeks anyways, since I’ve been having a pump issue.
Now its time to decide whether or not put the horns on the next vehicle. I already miss them in the 2 weeks they’ve not been working. I think the answer with be yes…
new vehicle means everyone wont recognize you and you can scare the S#*T out of them again. Once I acquire another vehicle its gonna be hard to let go of my 89 silverado. She’s been a good truck.
Thanks guys! I don’t think I could live without the horns now. I would definitely surprise folks, since they easily recognize my TB now.
I’ve thought about taking a few different paths, currently I’m undecided. I can get a new truck (I want a fullsize GMC), or a slightly used GMC (and not take the depreciation hit)…or I’ve thought about getting a midsized 4x4 pickup and building another XC quad (since I love to ride, and miss it a ton). Then there is the wild hair in me, who wants to build some sort of sleeper ratrod type of car with a healthy powerplant…and buy a little Civic or something to drive daily. If I chose the later of those options, I’d have a hard time determining which ride to put the Nathan’s on.
But whats even funnier is that they say with a manual you will get less HP/TQ than with a auto. LOL. Everyone should know its the other way around and the reason why they do that is they can make more money with the auto trans.
