Just a update here…purchased some used k3’s from jeepk3dan to replace the weak crap I had installed. These K3 are really loud. Well I only went thru two purchases to get it right.

What do you recommend for sealing the tank? I’m having the hardest time getting it sealed… losing half of my air pressure overnight…

Thread sealer works well. but you have to let it dry.

We use Loctite 567 and pressurize a 10 gallon tank as soon as it’s assembled. It takes about 48 hours to dry. Heat accelerates the drying process, which you get from your compressor, but it still takes awhile to completely set up.
