I have the Conductor 5 Gallon kit with the 400C. I am going to be getting another comp because I use the OBA for airing up tires and other air accessories and it drains fast.
If I get anther comp, what other components will I need?
What guage wiring?
Another pressure switch?
Also my comp is on a toggle switch. Will I have to run another toggle for each or can I just add these wires to the toggle now?
It’s not on Key on, because I like to manually turn it on when my vehicle is parked so I can air up.
Im sure I can just solder the new comp wire to the positive on the toggle switch.
For my power I ran 8gauge back to a D-block then split it into two 10gauge wires one to the switch side on each relay. Then from the other side of the switch side of the relay to the compressor. As far as the trigger wire. I have a 14gauge coming off the battery to a toggle switch, then to my 110-145 pressure switch. From there I take the lead going to my relays and splice another wire onto it 14gauge as well amd then one wire to the coil side on each relay. Than a seperate ground on each relay. HB dual 380c wiring diagram is an exact replica of my wiring. As for pics go all my wires where tucked and hid and half of them still remain hid as i am trying to install dual OB2s
OK, so i am still utilizing my current 110-150psi pressure switch with built in relay. All i am doing is adding your relay, and tapping into the other relay , all wires except for the power…
For the power i can run 4gauge from batt to bed of truck, and use a d block and reduce down to 8gauge to run to compressors…
I’d liek to get this done before the parade on saturday, but time is not on my side…
I did get a chance to hook up a 17 gallon air tank to my system using 5/8" od line. Now i have 27gallons of air
For the initial fill, i used my 6gal porter cable pancake compressor , and ran the viair 380c up to 125psi… Took about 10 min…
Then i let the viair cool down for about 10 min. and topped off the 27gal of air from 125psi to 150psi (which took about 8 min.)
Really looking forward to having 2 compressors going…
