what the difference?

what the difference between the “shocker xl” kit and the “classic”?? are the horns different? or is it just the solenoid and splitter that makes the price different? and is the selenoid and splitter really that much better than the one in the classic kit?

Too it is interesting to me in what a difference:confused:

AFAIK, the horns are the same.
The valve/tubing/fittings are the difference.

The Push lok stuff is nice and well worth it though.

the diffrence is that the classic kit has 3/8" fitting, solonoid, and air line, the xl has all 1/2" fittings, solonoid, and air line. same horns, but the size diffrence makes a great diffrence.

On it the complete set XL sounds more loudly

more airflow = louder

alright…thats pretty much what i figured. i bought my kit from someone off craigslist and he didnt know which one it was but im running 1/2 to the splitter then 5/16 out the splitter into the horns.

I had the same question…thanks for a clear answer. Glad I found this place!

Louder can sometimes mean distortion. It’s usually due to higher PSI than airflow in some of the threads I’ve seen. The horn fanatics can answer that better than I can.
