i have the shocker 232 train horns. i want a k5la. if i get the k5la and wanted to mount them on my roof (not having a headache rack or anything) what would some suggest i do??/
I dont know what you mean by " headache rack " but I would think you could get a roof mounted off road light bar, depending on your vehicle model, and fab a plate to mount them too.
o ok…im not really trying to spen money on any kind of rack. i’ll probably just stick to mounting them under the truck.
I am mounting my K5HL under my truck where my spare tire goes. What kind of vehicle do you have?

i have a ford f350 superduty
plus under the truck keeps them hidden. I think people (ie police) would start to catch on if they were on top. Spare tire area is probably the best
I agree I have my shocked horns mid fax area underneath. Ill just swap em out
just an FYI.
IIRC, the 232 kit has a 2 gallon tank. I don’t think that would be enough for a K5. not even a K3. you’ll probably get a squeak and then you’re out of air. better get a 5gal or more tank 
I have heard the k5 workin with a 2 gal…I plan in gettin a 5 gal tho

I had the 5 gallon and got like maybe 2 second honk before it started to fade, now i got 12 gallons and couldnt be happier.
