wheres your magic button??!

just wondering where other people have put their buttons at…

heres a pic of mine! pick a switch! 1 is the horn, 2 of them are “anti theft” switchs, another is my dome light and the last one is my compressor!

I don’t have a wild imagination so I just used the steering wheel horn button. lol

used it since I already have the reflex to hold the steering wheel button when someone cuts me off.

Horn Button, keyless entry lock button, Alarm, and a ball valve on the side of the seat. I like options.

The left red push switch is my honk button, then the next one is my compressor on/off switch, and then my torque convertor lock switch.

anti theft… like?

one switch if for my fuel pump, the other switch goes to a wire on my distrubutor. truck wont start unless theyre both on, but for someone trying to steal the truck, they dont know whats what and could possibly flip the horn on!

I hid all switches under the dash.Tapped into regular horn switch, alarm, panic button.I love setting my Alarm when the nathans are on. LOL

haha i like that…the 3 way switch…my truck didnt have a horn when i got it and i never botherd hookin one up

Looks like you got one now ! LOL

hell yes i do!..i looked at the horn a few years back when i had my honda but never got one…then i got this truck and i hookd up my air tank and everything for 4 wheelin but then i realized i needed a horn! i found the horns with the selenoid and air lines on craigslist for $150 brand new

You know, I just got thinkin’ about this. I can’t realy post where my magic botton is on this. It would have to go under the 18+ section. LOL. But I can say this, “When I push it, she’s hot”.

 haha!

Well magic button now eh? Well I have my horn button routed though my stock horn switch. I have on my panel 4 switches 1 light up switch for my compressors on/off, one for stock horn on/off, one for Shockers on/off and one for Psychoblasters on/off. They can all be turned on one at a time or all at once or whatever I feel like. I also have it pre-wired for when I get another horn.
And for my strobe lights I have them ran through a hidden switch in my secret stash spot.

I want to do the switch like that but im not 100% sure how to do it. Do you have a wiring diagram by any chance.

All I did was tap into my + horn wire up front and run A wire to the three position switch via relay and walla. If you call Hornblasters or E-mail them they can help you with this as I can’t give A diagram at this time. Away for the holidays and don’t have access to the sheet. Maybe someone will chime in here and help out. sorry bout that wont be back till next week.

Thanks I was thinking something like that but without the relay, like put the horn + in the middle prong and the K3 on one prong and the stock horn on the other. Im not sure if that would do what I want though

As long as the amp draw from the solenoid is not to excessive it should work. If it is you might blow A fuse.

The solenoids only draw like an amp so I think it should be ok.
Might have to try it tomorrow.

Give it A try, keep me posted…
