Which K1L bell is more desirable and why?

2 piece sandcast 1L bell
-or-
1 piece diecast 1L bell

I’m probably buying one and I have a choice.
Help!

I guess the 2 piece sandcast is the older version.

The 1 piece diecast is newer & probably has the raised letters.

Should I just get the one that matches the rest of my bells?

this is what i know
if your afrer a althentic train horn
and willing to spend
the big bucks i get
a old school K horn or if you just wont a airchime K horn
get the diecast but
i think the old school has a more rich sound i may not
own one yet but lerning with your
eyes and ears is so
much fun lol

The only ones I’ve seen for sale are the 2 piece sandcast.
At least up til now.

If you can’t tell, I’m toying with adding to my K5-A…lol

how do u know if it is a old style k3 or new i have the style that dosnt have the word air chimes printed on the side of each bell so i am assuming its the old ones?

Yeah, that’s the way I understand it - just like you said.
Mine are that way too.

I just want to know if there’s an advantage on a 1L bell to get the 1 piece or 2 piece.

it wudd give his horn a good look you know old new
may be it wudd sound good.
