Why add shockers?

I noticed that a few of you have the K5’s or the K3’s then you add shockers to the system. Is there a reason for this or what? Kind wondering myself or is it the fact you buy shockers first then add the better K3’s or K5’s and keep the shockers? Either way I was just kinda wondering.

alot of people have shockers first then upgrade and just keep the shockers…
