Will cleaning diaphrams help with sound?

My horns seemed to have lost a lot of their sound. Even after draining the tank of what little water was in it and refilling it, they still seem low and dull compared to before. I’ve had the horns for over 5yrs and have never done anything to the but drain the tank. I’m pretty sure I have the Conductor’s 540 kit. I’m thinking of adding a pressure gauge to make sure the compressor is providing the needed 150psi. I’m just wondering if taking the horns apart and cleaning them would help also.

It wouldn’t hurt, diaphragms can wear out or get damaged. Get the gauge because high pressure can damage the diaphragms.

I believe if you take them apart you void the lifetime warranty…
