Ok I went and bought a new battery today. Its the second one its just a normal car battery. I am just getting my car ready for my Train horn. Should i buy a new alternator or will my stock one work? I dont want to be out one day and it go bad and everythin dies at once. lol I am also running a loud system and led lights and all kings of inside lights and bags lol Oh i drive a 03 Cavalier.
ah, well you need to run a couple runs of 0 gauge wire from the front battery to the back, and ground it properly. If you dont know what Im talking about I can tell you. A HO alt would help charge those batteries. Im running 1200 watts and stock battery and stock alt, and im fine. but yea, its whatever. The compressor doesnt run continuously, just when your low on air.

If it were me, I’d upgrade the alternator simply because you’re asking the stock alternator to charge two batteries.
id do just the big three upgrade… and see how it works out… should be a huge differance
im running a 350 Amp alt and 4 Batteries with 0 gauge throughout…
also get a battery isolater too… so they dont discharge each other and the main battery will always stay full so the car will start if the accessories use up all the 2nd batteries power
