My recent purchase is an Edwards Signaling Airchime CA Horn.
This is a bronze and stainless horn w/ a 745 Hz fundamental frequency, 50 - 150 psi operating pressure and 15 cfm consumption.
The bronze and stainless construction is very compatible w/ the marine environment, even though it does not look like a typical marine horn.
It is loud and has piercing sound.
The factory built my boat w/ hidden dual electric horns located at the port bow. The exterior of the boat has a grill where the sound exits. On the interior of that opening is my anchor locker. It is large enough to climb into (I have done that several times). There is a box covering those openings inside the anchor locker and the two horns dump sound into the top of the box. This configuration protects the horns from water intrusion.
My plan is for this CA horn to also dump into the top of this box. The air pressure will be regulated down to the 50 - 150 psi range and switched by a solenoid valve.
