Wish I had train horns... today.

Today was another day where I wish I had a complete train horn setup.
I was driving on the interstate and on one of the overpasses two females where walking across up above. I could see their silhouettes in the sun behind them. I notice little things like this when I drive. Who’s where, what are they doing, etc…

Now I’m doing about 65 (again on the freeway) and all of the sudden I see the chubbier one take aim and toss a 32 ounce soda off the bridge straight to my car… she was trying to time it to hit me and almost got it right on the money.

Luckily for me, the lid came off about half way down. The cup flew to the side… but I did get a spray of her soda across my car.

So, while I don’t have a train horn I do have some small air horns that have a different tone than a normal car… so I laid on my horn to let them know I wasn’t happy.

Now this bridge doesn’t have an exit to it off the freeway, but I know where the streets connect. So I take the next exit, swing around and go find them.

What I wished I could have done was BLAST them with some full on train horns as they walked down the road… Instead I rolled down my window and gave them a piece of my mind, blasted what (be it little) horns I have and ripped out of there. I figured at least they could match the horns to realize I was actually the one honking before.

I don’t think they expected to see the car they almost hit come find them.

So while it’s not a true train horn scare, it is one of those moments that makes me go put more into savings toward it.

Your Train horns will come in time and it’s always little moments like the bridge incident where you wish more than anything for big horns.
I have been without horns for almost a year & I constantly drive round wishing I had horns and driving through tunnels missing my horns.
However, today I need not wait any longer, I am due a knock on the door from the UPS man with a 25kilo package from Hornblasters  I can’t wait!!!

I got mine after someone cut me off while I was pulling my 33 foot toyhauler.

Some jack@ss in a Kia Rio hatchback missed their exit and jumped in front of me, crossing from the passing lane and getting so close to my front end I couldn’t see through the hatchback into his car. I was running with my exhaust brake on (lucky) so I down shift, brake, and nail my horn. He ran into the gravel to make his exit, so you can figure out how much room I had.

This was after he passed my wife in her truck ('06 2500 QCSB), the toyhauler, and me pulling it.

If I could get away with a headache rack mount, I probably would.
