I believe its been mentioned in the past but what was the constant duty RPM for Yorks? I read in the CCI manual that its 4000rpm. Probably true if it was being run as an AC compressor but not sure if thats the same for just pumping air… I thought someone said it was like 2000rpm give or take.
DBO is right, 1500 to 1800, and that’s if it’s being cooled at the same time.

Yes, air cooled. If engine driven then also shielded as much as possoble. The head is aluminum and will become soft around 350 degrees F.
