Ok guys… firstly I’m sorry this has taken so long to come about, its been a slog… I just hope it woz worth the wait… its still not 100% done…I’m waiting on 2 x 7" dvd screens to go in and a set of Bass speakers, respray the floor and finally get the K3’s CHROMED…then its complete!!!
But seeing as I woz able to show it off this weekend I guess its only fair to show you all as well… I woz working on the truck even an hour before I left for the show…

Wow. Simply wow. Awesome work mate! Looks like a first class job and so much done on the truck too! I know how hard it is to go without sleep and food, work 2 jobs, and then crank out a project like this too. And all while the forum jerks are riding you to post more info and pics! Nice that you finally got us some info - very cool!
Some comments based on the photos:
What, no painted horns? Or at least mirror-polished horns? They look too plain in such a fancy ride. Need to dress ‘em up. And what happened to those racy red negligees?
Should have used blue medium loctite on all the fittings instead of Teflon tape. Prevents leaks from vibration and looks better too!
HB should be paying you a commission for advertising, or at least giving you a discount.
Love the diamond plate base. Might have to do that on mine!
LEDs look better than they did in the teaser video. We need a full screen high-definition video. Perhaps a new version of Terror in the Streets, UK style? Drive around and honk your horns near all the scenic places in Europe… I would buy it!
Love the wheels and the accent lights to show them off!
What is inside each of the metal boxes along the sides of the truck bed? I can see the electric actuators but what else?
Make sure the compressors aren’t too close to the lid when closed or the lid could get too hot and warp or discolor from the heat.
The remote-opening lid is killer! You need to make the tailgate remote-opening as well so the goof tailgating behind you will see what is about to happen!
Take them crappy warning labels off the compressor leads already!
No custom plate on the Stink-mobile?
Blacked-out dude in a red thong – WTF? On second thought, it is probably best that you don’t explain…
Are those Siege horns or Pscyhoblasters under the truck as well, or on the bottom of the lid? Why are they polished when the K3 is plain vanilla?
Who owned the MR2 with shockers in the trunk?
No interior photos of the cab when finished? What is the mystery? Might it be more horns in the passenger seat or glove box?
Love the construction pics. Shows all the hard work and sandwiches which went into the project. WTF? You stopped to eat, rest, and drink? No wonder we had to wait so long!
You need a much better wire management system. Spaghetti mess hidden in those boxes – wasted space too! Electronics are my specialty – seeing something like that makes me want to fly over the pond and rip it all out to be replaced with a proper job!
Great job there! I keep my horns under a bed cover anytime they go on any vehicle (my brother’s truck or a friend’s). Keeps them clean and, in your case, shiny. They’ll look great in chrome.
still, i would think there would be a definite notable difference in audibility, is there not? would drive me nuts knowing my horn could be sounding louder
