Thanks dude…you have PM!

My horn on my brother’s truck is under a bed cover and with the cover closed and the tailgate up, you can hear it for several miles still.

There is a marked difference in sound, but it is still poopingly loud!

what the heck kinda horn he got?

Right now he has a K3. Sometimes an RS-5-T. His bedcover is the little snap vinyl one though so that could be alot of the difference.

My Bed top apparently came from the States, off a DC 10 so the rumour goes… yet to be confirmed… only material light enuff and strong enuff…???

I’m not familiar with a DC 10… An S10?

or C10? lol

*coffs… ermmmmmmmm This is a DC10…

DC10 is a plane.

I didn’t know DC10’s have truck beds to put a cover on…

Yes mate, its true…

In 1977 Sydney-Lockheed Aviation produced the first ever DC10 Cargo carrier. It comprised of a normal 276 seater DC10, but was adapted to have a flat bed section of the plane. It made the loading and un loading of cargo much easier and was perceived to be an inovation in Aviation history. They then started producing lightweight hood covers to go on really cool lowrider trucks.
Then several years later Sydney-Lockheed went on to produce the worlds first convertible plane, capable of carrying 262 passengers, believed to be the ultimate in cruising. They were also the first to set the scene with TV screens fitted in the back of head rests, thus making night time flying more cool & fun whilst posing round the skys at night with the top down.
The only downside was that often the pilots would put the planes into a corkscrew manouve, this was before seat belts were compulsory in convertible planes and often the airline misplaced several members of crew and it was once known to loose all 262 passengers.

PMSL…
