still getting spam messages
wean thay started
with me the first
had them now it
whas just vires
i sent a pm to twist
telling him that i
had 4 unread pms
and cud not read
them then my phone died so i had
to relogin and after
i did is wean i got
the last one onsly
i dont know what
thos last 4 wear i
wudd not be suprisd
if thay wear about the vires bs.

Blocked more IP ranges, email domains, and put in two more forms of protection… Just bear with us and it should be over soon.
I have a notifcation for 1 private message but there’s nothing to see or delete. I think you have one more bug to fix…hahaha

No I had the same thing from their rebuild on the PM system.
Check your PM’s and sort them by date, and it should the very last one and have a 1970 date on it. It will also be totally empty (no topic, no username)and you won’t be able to see it well. Delete it and the “1 new message” notification will go away.
I deleted that one some time ago and my messages are already sorted by date. How do you select a different way to sort?
Hmmmmm that explains why I had 5 new PM’s but nothing woz there?
And also I cannot PM Suggs who is a newbie from the UK…
My bad, they’re already sorted by date. You still have the bogus “1 new message” error after deleting the bad PM from the rebuild?
PM’s for newbies won’t work until they get 30 posts, I think. Tiernan made mention of it in another post for the horrible spam as a way to cut it off. I’d say ask the mods if they can exempt individuals from the 30 post policy.
I didn’t do anything but the notice is gone. Tiernan must have done it.

I dropped the min post for PMing to 10… he just needs to post a little more… you can still leave him visitor messages (granted they’re not private, but they’re at least directed directly at him)
