you’ll need a 12v to 48v dc-dc converter or power supply.

I have looked all over amazon and eBay for a converter. I can only find one that looks like a laptop power cord. If you find one could you post up or send me a link

I am an idiot. I thought that was a YouTube link. Thank you so much. I am going to order the water proof one tonight. Thanks bud.

yea let me know how it works, my ebell should be here tomorrow :stuck_out_tongue:

Will do

If you’re still looking just enter “12v to 48v dc-dc converter” on a search engine and there should be plenty of listings.

holy frig this thing is huge!! haha

Ya it is not small at all.

i just plugged mine into the wall and holy honk its loud, my ears are ringing hahah

Where are you installing yours?

Driver side under the bed. Outside the frame rail.

I can put pics up tomorrow but basically I have a 12VDC to ~105VAC inverter and then a 31V adapter plugged into that, goes to the e-bell.
E-bell is zip tied by the rear bumper of my car, hasn’t fallen off (yet). I bought a u-bolt but am hesitant to drill a hole in my trunk.

Enjoy. It’s been installed that way for about 3 months now.

ah nice, im getting a bracket custom made for right behind my k5, its gonna be at a slight downward angle to keep water and what not out of the hole.

Hey did you guys hook up your bells yet?

I got a new e-bell coming to me next month.

I have to mount it on the hardtop, how much do these things weigh??

I have to design a mount too.

What about video and more pics!!!:D:D:D:D

It weighs about 20 pounds. Here is the brochure;

Lots of videos online.
Good luck

I tested it with the inverter I got from Ebay and it works well. My welder guy was supposed to make my bracket today but he had a family emergency  Next week I hope he can fit me in.

this is my only video so far of me testing it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LScWYrHGVu8

I have a e-bell for sale if anyone interested pm me.

Did you post it in the forsale section also? http://www.trainhornforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30
