They tore in half when I took them off. the rubber was rather brittle. but I still put them back when I mounted the comp.
One thing though. the leader hose leaks when moved. I don’t think its a bad thing. Making it an impromptu ‘unloader valve’ hahaha.
edit: I had a little problem with the sender. the first time I used it, the output was jumping. The compressor would run-stop-run intermittently. A few cycles later, it no longer did that. I also changed the on-off difference. The new sender turns off at 125psi, and turns the compressor on at 115psi. changed it to 100psi on, 125psi off.
Compressor stops at either 125psi or 130psi. It changes during the time of the day, position of the moon, what I’m wearing or whatever.
It may do for now but I’ll still look for a cheaper source of the original sensor. RS Philippines has the actual sensor I first used, just priced twice the sender! But when I was using that, it was always spot on!
The sender is a electro-mechanical device. must have broken in now. it now stops at 130psi all the time. I did several 0-130psi cycles and it stops at the same point now.
I also rewired the power going to the comp. replaced everything with true 8ga wire. got a 60A mini ANL and fuse holder for free too! Fill time is now 1min 45sec from 0-130psi! cool!!!
