How do I hook my horns to my keless entry. Im so confused to how this works. And also where could I purchase a remote to do just the horns only?

could u just split it off one of the OEM horn wires?

i just spliced a wire into the stock horn and then sent that to a relay and then to the horns so it beeps whenever my regular horns are sounded (whether its activated by the alarm or just pushing the stock horn on the steering wheel.)

Anybody know where the stock horn wire is on an 01 F-250?

if you dont have a chiltons manual for your ride then go get one at almost any autoparts store. theyre a little pricy but it is the manual for every last wire bolt or nut on your ride. it tells you everything about your car or truck

and to answer your question yes the best way is to spice into your stock horn wire

Find the horn. Splice it right in front of the horn. Thats what I did

ok after a weeks worth of working on this i finaly got it to work and we finaly got to the horn it was a pain in the @$$ but I got it.

what I did was, you have 2 stock OEM horns. I cut one of the wires going to the OEM horn and ran a wire from that cut to the solenoid. I also had a toggle activating the horn from on to off. that way, when it is ON I can honk the stock horn the train horns will go off with it. If you leave the toggle on, and the alarm goes off, the train horns will go of with it.

So I hook it up, and it worked, but it barley works. I mean the honk on the keyless entry on the Ram is fast and short. So its not really worth it.
