Quick question…I tried hooking the regulator up to the shop compressor to get it dialed in before I put it on the tank…does it have to have back pressure in order to read right? I accidently put in in the wrong way to begin with bc I didn’t see the arrows…lol but I flipped it around now and it won’t read…didn’t to begin with either…I stick my finger over the hole and got it up to 30psi…any help?

If you need the bracket for the regulator I bought one but didn’t need it.

Thanks man but I got it mounted so I don’t need it. Lol I figured out the pressure problem lol

I must say that I love it when an install is symmetrical.

me too man

Finally got the bed back on  only ran into one problem…the valve stickin lol but the rubber wasn’t lined up inside it…got one leak on bottom of tank I gotta fix then I’ll be set  I’ve scared a few ppl already hahahahaha its a great feeling when your finally done. Small rattling noise from check valve…is that normal? Also ran a single 8 gauge for both compressors…is that good enough?my radio went into protect on the way to town but horns still work…so I gotta figure that out. I’m praying its only my remote wire to my amp shorting out…who knows?

8ga should be fine. You can use a 60amp fuse up to ~15 feet and a 50amp up to ~20 feet.

My check valves rattle too. Enough to make me research and look into new ones. They’re not faulty. It’s the metal on metal contact. When the compressor sends a pulse of air it moves the check ball out of the way. The sound you hear is the ball slamming back to the seat.

G/L with the stereo

ok good///lol had me worried…turns out one of the speaker wires were grounding out off the headunit. lol

ive noticed the check valve is worse at a lower PSI. do the compressors need to be broken in? seems like they are filling a wee bit quicker now from 160 to 200 than they did when we first checked it lol

Pop off valve keeps goin off…:frowning: got my regulator turned up just to see what it sounds like…have a 200 pressure switch with 480s at 200 psi…any suggestions?

Safety valve you mean? if thats the case , you need a 210 (or 220) psi safety valve…

I do have a 220 safety valve…lol I was typin that goin down the road…it only does it when I blow the horns sometimes…I’m stumped.

Do you have a gauge?
