Hi everyone, Im selling my K5la. It has bell numbers #1, #2, #3a, #4a, #5, and is a newer 2000ish horn that possibly came off CSX. I bought it from hornblasters this time last year. When I bought it, the horn came with 5 brand new diaphrams, 5 new cushions, and 5 new diffusor disks. Those things brand new together are a total of $325. It hasnt been blown alot and has been wll taken care of, with everything still looking new. The horn has good paint on it still and I just had it apart to clean it all up. Im selling it because I just bought a first generation die cast big tag K5LA so I have no need for 2 K5LA’s. This ones gotta go. In response to the amount im selling it for, if you look at ebay right now there is a couple K5s right in the price range of 700 to 800 dollars. So me asking 750$ is reasonable price to ask for a completely restored horn. Tommy Aker sells his horns at 650$ but its up to the buyer what they want and how much they are willing to spend. Curt S. (dafarmer) sells his horns for around 800$ and he does get the price hes asks alot of times.

I just want people to know im not trying to screw them by asking that price. I actually bought them for alot more than im trying to sell them a year ago, but that was also when the horn market was better. I know that these are probably out of most peoples budget but I gotta get what I can for them. Thanks, Josh

Yea thanks man Curt is a good guy to deal with and talk to. Cool man, Im not a real big fan of the k3la, I would rather have a K3L or K3H but to each there own. Keep your eyes open on ebay and even cragislist you can find some really good deals there. The horn prices are as low as they’ve been because of the economy.
