Stinkys K5's install.................

Solid update man, looks like a TON of progress in this update…closer to road-worthiness. I think we’ll be seeing videos from you very soon.

Its a lot of work but its lookin real good Chief
An its sure goin to be worth it !!!:smiley:

It’s coming right along. Keep at it!

And at last the switch panel is finally done! I have a couple of relays I need to fit to finish it off, but were almost there.

Here is the panel with the stickers on

Nice work Stinky. Looks very professional.
But hey… keep it under 150 like the ‘sign says’

Cheers big ears! I sit in traffic now, sadly playing with my toggle switches lol:D

156psi…Lol I ignored the wiring diagram and earthed the AZ pressure sensor to the bodywork/chassis instead of running an neg feed from the same place as the actual gauge, it is extremely voltage sensitive, coz I only have to touch my brakes or put my indicators on and the gauge goes nuts & flicks between 150psi & 276psi.

I am hoping to get under the truck tomoz and fit the Shockers on, so I am going to run clean Neg feed from the same place as the gauge is grounded whilst I’m under there

I’ll get some updated pics of the “Tank set up”, as it’s changed slightly since the first lot of pictures I posted up.

The panels lookin good Chief Topman !!!
Im tryin to remember the wiring diagram for the az guage etc its nearly a year ago i fitted mine but something in my head remembers about one terminal is linked to the gauge but also earths to the chassis aint never seen 260psi from mine its late an been a long day
Lookin forward to the next update

It all came together nice man! Hope you are able to knock the Shockers out quit, since you’ve already laid the foundation with the rest of your system…so you can get to enjoying your setup. (and us too, via video  )

Ha ha ha I did do a cheeky vid today, but I need to edit it slightly as I forgot to turn the video off :rolleyes:dohhhhh!!! I will get on to it today:D

Okie dokie… Here we go again. Today I spent yet another day under the truck… Today was shocker fitting day:D

I started off trying different locations to fit the shockers, but then decided the only place they could go was just behind the K5’s.

First I set about making up & drilling a piece of angle bar and working out the spacing for the Shockers.

I then drilled and self tapped a screw into the Horn to fix it tight to the rail.

Now to fit them onto the truck. I started by drilling and self tapping the rail under the bed. I had to place the different length Horns to avoid hitting the K5’s and the rear diff.

Now to the tank… I swapped around the compressor leader hoses and put them both on the same port using two 1/4 tee piece’s as I needed to fit a PCL quick release connector.

I lost a couple of ports due to the tank being so big, so luckily I found a 3/4 to 1/2" BSP fitting which fitted perfectly with a bit of boss white & PTFE tape, I then fitted a 1/2" push fit connector to feed the 2nd solenoid:D

The 2nd solenoid now fitted in place…

Next I started tubing it all up

I fitted some cable dressing on the wiring to the solenoids…

Now to pipe up the shockers…

Pipes connected to the manifold…

I piped up for the remote air filters off the compressors…

Quick vid to follow:D

Here’s a quick vid of the Horns in action, K5’s & Shocker:D

More to follow, I promise

Hot diggidy! That truck is just twice the fun.

The moment we’ve all been waiting for, sounds great man!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha I Love this set up

The first of many…

Here’s another quick couple of cheeky vids, just simply testing out the setup:D

My fav little underpass:D

Haha Wicked clips Chief

Bet yer like a dog with two di*ks cant make up yer mind which one to do first pmsl

K5’s Rule ;)

Ha ha ha a more like a dog with nine dinglie danglies!

I showed a mechanic mate of mine and he was just silent after seeing the array of Horns… And then he screamed when I set them off lol lol

I thought I would be using the K5’s less than the Shockers, but that is turning out not to be the case!!!

And your damn right mate, K5’s rule!!!

HaaHaa wicked

I guess its nice to have the option of which ones to sound off hey

But whats next for StinkyPete whats the next horn purchase going to be Leslies or different airchimes ???

Hey Stinky,

What is the Range of your Remote? Do you have a link to it? The one I have will only do
about 80-100 feet.

Thanks,

Malodave
