I can’t get my one speaker to work.
Instead of using the jack, I cut it off and connected yellow to yellow, black to black, etc for the four wires.
IDK if that is the issue, or something else…
I wouldn’t need to buy an extension cord if the included one was LONG enough, but w/e… Hopefully I’ll figure it out soon

you should of just got an extender i dont think speaker wire works like that but if your desperate and you need another one radioshack sells 50 watt for $26

The speaker that rebelkid posted is the second one i have, but it is not water resistant like it says. I am on my second one because the first one didnt like water.
I’m going to go buy a junction box to extend the microphone wire properly… If that doesn’t work maybe I need a new ground or something, we’ll see. I’m not too worried, either its defective or a simple problem w/ my wiring, which i’ll test with a multimeter later.
the pa speaker that i have from radioshack has been sunk in mud and it still works…
That speakers tech specifications say the only supported language is english 
What kind of input does it take? 4 pin microphone or speaker wire clamps? And do i need an amp, or just fused ign power?
im pretty sure its just like the headphones you stick in an ipod or whatever idk what you would call that
Got it working! I bought a phone jack box and used that to connect 2 phone cords. I fixed the connection and fixed the ground, very nice PA.
Not quite as loud as I want, but w/e.
My phone interferes with the PA speaker, but if i move my (cell) phone away from that side of the car I don’t hear any random noises.
Sirens are cool, at least the middle button. Can’t wait to pull someone over then leave them on the side of the road

i dont have that problem with my PA
idk but my phone does that to my computer speaker sometimes too
it like clicks really loud lol
(i have a 30w guitar amp hooked up to my computer so i can listen to music in the other side of the house haha)

I don’t really scare people with my PA as much as i like to embarrass them. Because im such a nice guy, i like to drop off my friends at their classes so they don’t have to walk. So when I drop them off i get on the PA, and usually say something like this:
“Hey jon” (he stops and turns around: now everyone knows who the public announcement is directed to) “You left your herpes creme here in the truck. do you want it?”
or this
“Hey Maggie, so i can get you my half of the abortion money when ever you want. Just let me know.”
so i have a 200watt siren/PA combo hooked up to two 100watt speakers, one on front of my truck and one on back. they are on a switch so i can turn off the rear if i want.
well one day i was in a downtown area at a light and these two guys were waiting for the light to turn so they could cross the street. the light was taking forever so they just decided to cross on the “hand” (dont walk) light. i started saying “dont cross, dont cross” the first guy stopped and started looking around. the other guy just kept going so i told him to stop…he did, in the middle of the street. meanwhile the first guy is laughing his as off now bc his friend is listening to me.
light is still red so i said “okay, walk slowly” they both started to cross and the guy in the middle of the street started running. i started laughing so i said “f*** it, RUUUUUNNNN!!!” now the guy that was stopped on the side is in the middle of the street and dying of laughter.
i have many more stories similar to that but that was by far the best iv done with my PA

I had a PA many years ago and I pulled in to a park and stopped with my headlights right on some teenagers. I said “stop, this is the police” and they scattered as fast as they could…lol
Lol iv done that a couple times. The best though, is probably one time when 4 big guys were packed into a little geo metro thing, swerving all over the road and stuff. So i turned on my siren and you wouldn’t behoove how fast they turned off. I bet they were drunk or had drugs or something.
